WE Wednesday: Japanese Tea Ceremony

Experience the serenity of a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony with CEETL on October 15, 2025, in HUM 117. This cultural event offers a unique opportunity to enjoy a peaceful tea-tasting experience and learn about the art of Japanese hospitality. Reserve your spot.

Japanese Tea Ceremony Schedule:

Session 1: 1:00 PM - 1:50 PM

Session 2: 2:30 PM - 3:20 PM

Session 3: 4:00 PM - 4:50 PM

Location: Japanese Tea Room (HUM 117)

Each session will begin with a short workshop, where guests will learn the basic etiquette of the tea ceremony to enhance their experience. This will include instructions on how to drink a bowl of matcha and appreciate a tea bowl during the ceremony.

Please note that all guests are asked to:

- Wash their hands before entering the tea room

- Wear a facial mask and socks

- Avoid wearing any fragrances

For comfort, guests may want to bring seating cushions.
