CSU Racial Equity Leadership Alliance Offerings for Faculty

SF State is one of nine CSU campuses that have joined the CSU Racial Equity Leadership Alliance, a partnership between the CSU system and the USC Race and Equity Center. This year-long alliance provides many benefits to member campuses, including SF State staff and faculty, such as a Racial Equity Learning Series, a Virtual Equity Resource Portal, and Campus Climate Surveys.

Spring 2024 Student Success Analytics Certificate Program

 Upcoming Spring 2024 Program Registration Now Open - Registration for the spring cohort from January 26, 2024 - April 19, 2024 is now open on the website! It is free for faculty from the CSU. Teams from departments are encouraged to participate. Registration deadline is December 15, 2023.

Teaching First-Generation College Students by Drawing on Cultural Strengths

$500 stipend, deadline to apply May 16, 2024. This institute, developed and facilitated by Dr. Rebecca Gutierrez Keeton and Dr. Maritza Lozano, faculty in the Department of Education Leadership in the College of Education at CSU Fullerton, focuses on evidence-based strategies for teaching and interacting that draw on the strengths of first-generation college students (FGCS). The institute addresses emerging issues and concerns in teaching in an online environment, including building student-instructor relationships and engaging students in different modalities.

CSU Online Course Services

Summer 2024 Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training

Three Summer 2024 Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training cohorts are now open. It will remain open until sessions reach capacity and wait lists are full. Mental Health First Aid for Higher Education teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.
